McNutt of Donegal is a B Corp™ Certified Irish Weaving Mill 

In February 2025, McNutt of Donegal reached a significant milestone in our sustainability journey by becoming B Corp™ certified. We love to trailblaze in all we do and sustainability is no exception. We are so proud to be the first B Corp™ in Donegal, the first Irish weaving mill and to lead the way for fellow Irish textile manufacturers to join the B Corp™ movement.

What is a B Corp™?

How did we become a B Corp™? 

The certification process is a lengthy and thorough process which we started back in early 2024. The assessment is designed to ensure that a business meets high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency within the following 5 areas:

  1. Workers 

  1. Community 

  1. Environment 

  1. Customers 

During the certification process, we took a step back and really analysed and reviewed how we operate. The assessment helped us to identify areas we can improve and enabled us to implement better ways of working.
